Alan began working in the medical communications field in 1982, after gaining his doctorate from the University of Birmingham in the UK and following a short period of undergraduate teaching.
After 5 years at a medical film company in London, Alan spent 14 years in an agency on the south coast of England, starting in an editorial role and progressing to business unit leader and head of editorial and publishing for what became one of the largest medical communication companies in the world.
Alan has experience in a number of therapeutic areas but, more importantly, his many years in the business have given him expertise in delivering global meetings-based programs, editorial and publishing projects (including publication strategies), video and digital media. Alan's innate ability to see the broad picture as well as his attention to detail, coupled with his hands-on experience of project management, delivery team management, and account handling across a wide range of media, mean that he has the ability to get things done efficiently and with the minimum of fuss, skills that have been much appreciated by his clients over the years.

Ann has 20 years' experience in international medical communications. One of Ann's strengths is her commitment to achieve client objectives and her ability to negotiate successfully with all other parties to achieve this. Opinion leaders appreciate her efficiency and patience when dealing with difficult situations, while clients have high regard for her loyalty, knowledge and diligence. For many projects, Ann's role in opinion leader liaison and meeting facilitation is an important component in successfully achieving commercial objectives on behalf of clients.
Ann's formal education includes a first degree from Oxford University and continued study in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University in the US. Her varied skills and background, which includes video production (at British Medical Television), internal and motivational conferences (at The Visual Connection), and her account director role at Parexel MMS, are brought to bear on all communications work she undertakes.
